Warehouse & Donation Bay Assistant
Location: Habitat ReStore Saint John
Duration: Full Time
Hours: 30–35 hours/week
Position Summary
The Warehouse & Donation Bay Assistant supports the behind-the-scenes operations of the ReStore, ensuring efficient handling of donations, inventory, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming donations
- Assist with donation intake and customer interactions at the donation bay
- Inspect items for quality and resale suitability
- Help with pricing, tagging, and preparing items for the sales floor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space
- Assist with moving furniture and large items (team lifting required)
- Support recycling and waste diversion efforts
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move items (up to 50 lbs with assistance)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Interest in sustainability and community impact (asset)

Eligibility
