Job Summary

Karas Security is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time OFA Level 3 Security Guard to support site operations. This role requires strong attention to safety, the ability to respond to incidents, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned sites
• Ensure safety of people, property, and assets
• Control site access and maintain visitor/vehicle logs
• Conduct CCTV monitoring
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Provide first aid when required (OFA 3 level)
• Complete detailed incident and daily reports accurately and on time
• Secure site equipment and support site-specific needs

Requirements

• Valid OFA Level 3 Certification
• Valid BC Security Worker License (BST)
• Part-time availability with flexibility to work rotating schedules (days, evenings, weekends as required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 15 lbs+
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to write clear, accurate incident reports
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations

Compensation & Benefits

• $21.00 per hour
• Extended health and dental benefits (as per company eligibility)
